Service Description
Elevate your dog's confidence, skills, and scent detection abilities with our Private Barn Hunt Sessions at Sussex Barn Hunt. Our one-on-one training helps your dog learn rat scent detection in a safe and supportive environment, whether your dog is a beginner or has some experience, these sessions are tailored to their individual needs and skill level. Our private sessions are perfect for all dogs, especially those that are reactive and not quite ready to join a workshop, or for owners who prefer a more relaxed setting to enjoy time with their dog. This fun and engaging activity improves teamwork between you and your dog while sharpening their instincts and senses. It's a great way to bond and use their natural talents, whilst building your dog's confidence and performance in scent detection in a fun and productive way. Venue: We are conveniently located near to the Hickstead hotel. Full venue details will be provided upon booking, but please feel free to reach out for more information beforehand! It is important to note that there are currently no toilet facilities available on site, so please plan accordingly before attending the session. There is a service station, within a short drive of the venue that has toilet and other amenities available.
Cancellation Policy
1-1 Barn Hunt Session – Refund & Cancellation Policy We understand that sometimes plans change. To ensure fairness and the smooth running of our sessions, please read our refund and cancellation policy below. 1. Cancellations by Participants 3 or more days’ notice: You may cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the 1-1 session and receive a full refund or the option to transfer your place to another available date. Less than 48 hours’ notice / No-show: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the workshop, or failure to attend without notice, will forfeit the full fee. No refund or transfer will be offered. 2. Transfers Booking: transfers are available once per booking and must be arranged within 1 month of the original session date. Transfers are subject to availability and discretion of the organizer. 3. Cancellations by the Organizer: In the unlikely event that the organizer must cancel or postpone a 1-1 session (e.g. due to severe weather, venue issues, or unforeseen circumstances), participants will be offered: A full refund, or The option to transfer to a rescheduled or future date. The organizer will not be responsible for any travel or accommodation costs incurred as a result of cancellation. 4. Substitutions - If you are unable to attend, you may nominate another handler to take your place, provided they meet all the session requirements and have the organizer's approval in advance. 5. Refund Method- Refunds will be issued via the original payment method within 7–10 working days of approval.
